Here are highlights from today’s wellness sessions:

  • Our esteemed panel of clinicians and researchers aided our understanding of the risks we face, and options we have to stay well during the ongoing pandemic crisis, aggravated by politics, economy, and conflicting ideologies.

  • Ed Bauman, Ph.D. and Founder of Bauman Wellness presented an integrative model to explain the roots of mental illness and the path toward mental wellness using food, herbs, nutrition, and mindfulness — plus social and spiritual support.

  • We learned from Holistic Nutritionist Lauren Bryson and Holistic Nutrition Consultant & Energy Practitioner Em Luisi how to eat seasonally. They also shared how to prepare one of their favorite fall recipes! Bring out the pumpkin spice, yum!

  • We joined Arts and Wellness Educator and Character and Leadership Development Facilitator, Christina Wright, for a film night. After viewing clips from the movie Eat, Pray, Love (2010), participants engaged in wellness activities inspired by the film's story, focused on letting go, honoring our authenticity and embracing transformation.

Join us tomorrow for the following sessions:

  • Wake up with Yoga Instructor Rebecca Plotkin who will lead us in a gentle all-levels movement practice to breathe, enjoy moving, and gain more energy in our everyday lives.

  • Ed Bauman, Ph.D. and Founder of Bauman Wellness will teach us evidence-based nutrition and wellness practices to build resilience and empower us to respond to a myriad of threats to our individual and collective well-being.

  • Join Holistic Nutritionist, Lauren Bryson and Holistic Nutrition Consultant, Neeta Merchant for an affordable nutrition food demonstration. Learn how to create an easy and nourishing meal that fits within your family’s budget.

  • Join Cynthia Ribeiro, Founder of the National Holistic Institute Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy Program, to learn how to unlock the bio-psycho-social contributors to pain and release them through touch, movement, and mindfulness.
