Bauman College founder, Dr. Ed Bauman, helped put the term “Holistic” on the map with his New York Times best-selling book, the Holistic Health Handbook (1977). Bauman College has trained over 10,000 holistic nutrition and culinary arts professionals over the course of 30 years. Dr. Bauman and colleagues founded the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP) in 2005 as an industry organization to validate the credentials and define the national scope of practice for holistic nutrition professionals.
“Bauman College has always been a family endeavor. We are now joining the NHI family, who share similar values and goals. Together, we have greater bandwidth and potency to fulfill our mission and achieve a sustainable business model. We are thrilled our NHI programs will now afford students financial aid that was not previously available.” — Dr. Ed Bauman, Founder of Bauman College and Bauman Wellness
