Joni Toombs is a Nutrition Consultant in the Bay Area and recent graduate of Bauman College pursuing her National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP) membership and Board Certification in Holistic Nutrition (BCHN). She has a B.S. of Business Management from Georgia Institute of Technology and after 11 years of experience in the corporate and education startup space, she has realized the need to help people find wholeness, especially through food. She works 1:1 with clients, builds nutritional menus, recipes, trainings, and experiential education for people to tangibly taste and see the healing power of whole food.

As Nutritionist, Coaches and Health food enthusiasts we are passionate about what we do and go above
and beyond to help and educate our clients about healthy eating and healthy cooking behaviors. However
often times we find our clients struggling to bring about sustainable habit changes in their lives. They start
out strong and then the motivation fizzles away. I will share how to use a more client -centered approach
by understanding the framework of Behavior Change and helping our clients use the SMART skills (Specific,
Measurable, Attainable, Relevant/Realistic, Time bound) to achieve sustainable success. Smart goal culinary
worksheet provided.

being used as game changers for those who find it difficult to will themselves out of an old habit. If eyes
are window to one’s soul than we are upon a great opportunity that is practical, easy, and cost nothing.
Time, energy, and the willingness to fully participate in mind and embody will align to the desired outcome.
There will be a short experiential (NLP) exercise.

applied SMART skills (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant/Realistic, Time bound) to achieve
sustainable success. Learn how to clients modify their diet and lifestyle behaviors in a gentle and joyful way.
