Neeta was born and raised in India and is deeply influenced by her country's culture of diversity, rich traditions and values.
After overcoming a major accident that resulted in some serious health struggles, Neeta quickly came to grips with the pain of her poor relationship with food and the effects of conventional medicine. During her 31 year career in the corporate world and as a volunteer HICAP Counselor, she observed firsthand the devastating results as her clients and co-workers faced diagnoses like diabetes, heart disease, cancer, mental health struggles, and autoimmune disorders. After she overcame her health struggles, she discovered a passion for helping others to do the same. So, she returned to Bauman College in Berkeley, CA, where she graduated with a Certificate in Holistic Nutrition in 2019. She also obtained certifications as an Instructor for Laughter Yoga from Laughter Yoga International University and Basic Yoga from Kaivalyadham, India in order to incorporate whole-body wellness.
Neeta is a proud member of NANP (National Association of Nutrition Professionals) and International Laughter Yoga Institute. She is also an active Bauman Wellness Moderator and Facilitator teaching nutrition programs virtually and in Irvine, CA.
In her spare time, Neeta enjoys cooking and rehabbing traditional recipes into healthy dishes. She loves to read, travel, tune into nature when hiking or walking, and devoting her time to community service. She also has a virtual Laughter Yoga club providing free sessions on Saturday mornings. Her lifestyle consists of yoga and meditation as a daily practice which helps bring balanced wellness.
